.    Ron Knight, Facilitator, began drumming at age three on an oatmeal box, at nine moved to his first Remo practice pad, and his first drum set at 13. In addition to studies in keyboards, guitars and synthesizers, and an early interest in theater and film, he received his B.A.in Psychology from California State University Long Beach, with  concentration studies in Heightened States of Consciousness with Dr. Martin Fiebert, Agni Yoga Light Fire Meditation technique of the School of Actualism, Ralph Metzner and Russell Paul Schofield; social psychology with Dr. Richard Thayer, and inductee into the CSULB Honors program chaired by from Dr. William Resch; He unabashedly left studies in Music Therapy at the same university to engage studies in Zen Buddhism with Dr Jon Covell, Explorations in Indian Rhythmic Cycles and Classical Music of India with Harihar Rao, disciple of Ravi Shankar who also worked with George Harrison, Tom Scott and Don Cherry. Further musical training at Dick Grove's Music Workshops in Studio City and training at the famed Kiis Broadcasting Workshops (later known as Los Angeles Broadcasters) led to a career as a broadcaster, voice actor, producer, sound designer & composer. Ron has scored or been involved in soundtrack supervision of significant network media productions for 25 years including credits in animation. As a broadcaster, he has been one of the only two people in the USA if not the World, programming a full time 24-7 World Music channel, Horizons, for Sirius Satellite Radio, where you can hear indigenous, village and popular music from 14 regions of the globe. He created one of the "firsts" in the circles movement by bringing in Arthur Hull and local drummers who had never played together, for a first national on-air Drum Circles broadcast. Additional studies and teaching at UCLA, USC, New York University,where Ron completed studies in Motion Picture Soundtrack Scoring featuring studies under the late Buddy Baker of Walt Disney Studios);  Chicago City Limits, Actors in Advertising, and the School for Film and Television, in areas of Scene Analysis, Interpretation and Improvisation technique for music, theater and comedy have melded Ron's coaching sessions and counseling for performers into various forms of empowerment techniques through non-performance related imagery and Gestalt related interiorization. In addition to working relations with musical performers and artists around the world, in particular Brazil, France, and China, he continues various studies in metaphoric counseling with various human potential methodologies stemming from different parts of the globe, and further is a Remo Health RhythmsTM trained "Group Empowerment Drumming" Facilitator.  In addition to Community Empowerment Circles, Ron also does corporate work and retreats, information may be found at www.rumblewave.com
